УКРАЇНСЬКА ФЕДЕРАЦІЯ ГІМНАСТИКИ ЗАПУСКАЄ ГЛОБАЛЬНУ КАМПАНІЮ #CloseYourEyesAndEars У ПАМ’ЯТЬ ПРО ЖЕРТВИ ВІЙНИ

Під час Чемпіонату Європи з художньої гімнастики у Варні українські спортсменки здійснили вчинок глибокої мовчазної гідності. Під час демонстрації символіки та виконання гімнів держави-агресора та її сателіта, гімнастки заплющили очі та закрили вуха. Цей жест став не просто реакцією — це потужне, універсальне послання до всього світу.

У відповідь на цей емоційний момент Українська федерація гімнастики (УФГ) офіційно оголошує про запуск глобальної цифрової кампанії #CloseYourEyesAndEars.

Ця кампанія є даниною пам’яті про страшну ціну цієї неспровокованої війни. За кулуарними адміністративними рішеннями, формальними протоколами та бюрократичними процедурами світ часто забуває про справжню трагедію. Сотні українських спортсменів і тренерів загинули, так і не отримавши шансу знову вийти на старт. Тисячі спортивних шкіл зруйновані вщент, а мільйони дітей втратили свої мрії. Цей флешмоб присвячений пам’яті про жертви та сльозам українців, які неможливо приховати, стерти чи проігнорувати.

УФГ переконана, що людські життя та етичні цінності повинні завжди стояти вище за будь-які адміністративні регламенти чи компроміси.

Глобальний заклик до дії

Ми закликаємо всі національні та міжнародні спортивні федерації світу, незалежно від виду спорту, а також атлетів, тренерів та вболівальників приєднатися до цього руху солідарності.

During the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Varna, Ukrainian athletes engaged in a profound act of silent dignity. Faced with the display of symbols and the playing of anthems representing the aggressor state and its satellite, the gymnasts closed their eyes and covered their ears. This gesture was not just a reaction—it was a powerful, universal message to the world.

In response to this poignant moment, the Ukrainian Gymnastics Federation (UGF) officially announces the launch of the global digital campaign #CloseYourEyesAndEars.

This campaign is a tribute to the human cost of the ongoing unprovoked war. Behind closed-door administrative decisions, formal protocols, and bureaucratic procedures, the world is prone to forgetting the real tragedy. Hundreds of Ukrainian athletes and coaches have been killed, never to step onto the field of play again. Thousands of sports schools lie in ruins, and millions of children have seen their dreams shattered. This flashmob is dedicated to the memory of the victims and the tears of Ukrainians, which cannot be hidden, erased, or ignored.

The UGF believes that human lives and ethical values must always stand above any administrative regulations or compromises.

We call upon all national and international sports federations worldwide, across all sports disciplines, as well as athletes, coaches, and sports enthusiasts, to join this movement of solidarity.
