Офіційна позиція Української федерації гімнастики щодо демонстративної неповаги до державних символів України з боку нейтральної атлетки на міжнародному турнірі.

Українська федерація гімнастики висловлює рішучий протест через неприпустиму поведінку російської гімнастки, яка виступала під нейтральним статусом. Під час офіційної церемонії нагородження на Кубку світу у Софії (Болгарія) нейтральна атлетка С. Ільтерякова навмисно відвернулася від прапора України, чим відкрито продемонструвала неповагу до державного символу нашої країни та фундаментальних принципів Олімпійської хартії.

Порушення етики та Fair Play

Цей жест є прямим порушенням правил поведінки на офіційних церемоніях та принципу «спорту поза політикою», яким часто прикривається повернення російських атлетів.

Порушення протоколу

Церемонія нагородження – це офіційна частина змагань, яка потребує дотримання етикету. Демонстративна відмова стояти обличчям до прапорів призерів — це неповага до суперників та організаторів.

Дискредитація нейтрального статусу

Цей інцидент підтверджує, що статус нейтрального атлета використовується як прикриття для трансляції політичних поглядів.

Політична складова

Ми розцінюємо цей вчинок не як особистий жест, а як вияв загальної державної ідеології країни-агресора.

Відсутність нейтральності

Справжній нейтральний атлет повинен утримуватися від будь-яких політичних маніфестацій. Розворот спиною до українського прапора в умовах війни, що триває, — це акт політичної ворожості.

Психологічний тиск

Подібна поведінка є формою пасивної агресії проти українських спортсменів, які змушені змагатися за умов постійного стресу, спричиненого обстрілами їхніх міст.

Вимоги УФГ до World Gymnastics (Міжнародної федерації гімнастики) та МОК

Українська федерація гімнастики негайно підготує  офіційну скаргу до Комісії з етики та вимагатиме :

1.⁠ ⁠Анулювати результат цієї атлетки на поточному турнірі за неспортивну поведінку.

2.⁠ ⁠Позбавити атлетку статусу «нейтрального спортсмена» постійно, оскільки її дії прямо суперечать критеріям допуску.

3.⁠ ⁠Посилити перевірку на «нейтральність», включивши до неї не лише відсутність прямих зв’язків із силовими структурами, а й зобов’язання дотримуватись повної поваги до державних символів усіх країн-учасниць.

Спорт — це майданчик для чесної боротьби, а не для демонстрації імперських амбіцій та зневаги до суверенітету інших країн. Україна вимагатиме справедливості та жорсткої реакції міжнародної спільноти.

Official position of the Ukrainian Gymnastics Federation

Regarding the demonstrative disrespect for the state symbols of Ukraine by the neutral athlete at an international tournament.

The Ukrainian Gymnastics Federation expresses its strong protest over the unacceptable behavior of the “russian”  gymnast who is performing under neutral status. During the official award ceremony at the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Sofia ( Bulgaria ) , neutral athlete S.Ilteryakova deliberately turned her back on the flag of Ukraine, thus openly demonstrating disrespect for the state symbol of our country and the fundamental principles of the Olympic Charter.

Violation of ethics and Fair Play

This gesture is a direct violation of the rules of conduct at official ceremonies and the principle of “sport beyond politics,” which is often used to cover up the return of “russian” athletes.

Violation of protocol

The award ceremony is an official part of the competition that requires compliance with etiquette. Demonstrative refusal to face the flags of the medalists is disrespectful to rivals and organizers.

Discrediting neutral status

This incident confirms that the status of a neutral athlete is used as a cover for broadcasting political views.

Political component

We regard this act not as a personal gesture, but as a manifestation of the general state ideology of the aggressor country.

Lack of neutrality

A true neutral athlete must refrain from any political manifestations. Turning your back on the Ukrainian flag in the conditions of the ongoing war is an act of political hostility.

Psychological pressure

Such behavior is a form of passive aggression against Ukrainian athletes, who are forced to compete under conditions of constant stress caused by the shelling of their cities.

UFG’s demands to the World Gymnastics and the IOC

The Ukrainian Gymnastics Federation will immediately prepare an official complaint to the Ethics Commission and demand:

1. To annul the athlete’s result at the current tournament for unsportsmanlike behavior.

2. To permanently deprive the athlete of the status of “neutral athlete”, since her actions directly contradict the admission criteria.

3. To strengthen the test for “neutrality”, including not only the absence of direct ties to security forces, but also the obligation to fully respect the state symbols of all participating countries.

Sport is a platform for fair competition, not for demonstrating imperial ambitions and disregard for the sovereignty of other countries. Ukraine will demand justice and a tough reaction from the international community.
